Our spring foals have now arrived! We are extremely impressed with the quality of these fillies as well as with their gaits.

2009 is Bonaventure's "Year of the foal"; this year we have bred 3 of our mares, one to Logi fra Scardi and two to our young Bjartur from Flying C Ranch. The first foal to arrive is a lovely blue dunn filly "Snaedis", which means Snow Goddess, and she is by Bjartur. Hopefully the next 2 will be born in nicer weather!
We have several nice riding horses available as well as a few youngsters. If you are looking for a quality Icelandic, inquires are welcome!

In the past year, we have bred two of our mares and we look forward to seeing the foals next spring. Our lovely grey mare Frigg was bred with our young stallion Bjartur, and Jay's mare Svertla was bred to the stallion Loggi fra Skardi. We are very excited about both combinations. Foals may be available for the discriminating buyer; inquiries are welcome. We are also continuing to do lots of riding this year and have been working extensively with our young horses.
